We return annually because it’s such a good place to stay
The whole team including the Breakfast team Zoe, Tom, Azic, Laura, Keith, Sam, Jock, were great at looking after us. Love this hotel and all the staff . I have met my sister annually for a weekend spa break for the past 3 years and it’s a regular future place we’re going to continue to go as it’s so friendly , helpful and organised
Always a Nice Experience
I stay at Stratford Manor several times a year. It is always very welcoming and dog friendly. As a breakaway club member, you also get a free drink as well as 50% off the very reasonable charge of £25 per stay. Food is very good and service, first class. They have a large area of grounds at the rear of the hotel which is excellent for dog walking. There are several electric vehicle chargers too.
Birthday weekend away for my wife.
Excellent weekend, easy parking, the staff could not have done more. Located just out side of town-perfect, good sized clean room, the only downside was 169 was too far away from the center - up or or a couple flights or 7-ish but a plus point was it was quiet. bar was good and the breakfast hit the spot with the buffet style. lots of uncontrolled children running amok with parents just looking on. Overall a great break, a real nice touch was the birthday from the staff which my wife loved..
Comfortable hotel very convenient for Stratford
Lovely comfortable hotel. We've stayed several times and keep returning. Lovely breakfast with very helpful friendly staff (the breakfast team with Julie and Laura were very good) There is a spa there but not tried it as the swimming pool does not open until 8 am on a Saturday which is later than we want.
Excellent stay
Lovely hotel , staff brilliant , breakfast and dinner excellent with plenty of choice and nice ambience in restaurant. Highly recommend
Excellent massage treatment from Ellie
Lovely couple of days at the stratford manor hotel made better by the excellent weather .Pleasantly surprised when learning that children's access to pool is at set times so you could swim at your leisure .Had an excellent massage from Ellie who had clealrly ready the requests on the consulation form and provided an axcellent massage , checking correct pressure througout. mky wife also had an excellent hot stones massage with marie Only area of contention was the porridge ( or wallpaper paste ) served at breakfast. Clearly not a porridge i or the server had ever seen no oat flakes in it and tasted dreadful .
Pleasant hotel, with even more pleasant staff.
Very pleasant stay, good amenities and nice smelling and clean. The lady checking in at 6:30 pm on the 23rd April was lovely and very helpful and a credit to the hotel, and she was a fun person to talk to. I have previously stayed at this hotel and i would stay here again.
Can’t wait to cone back!
Enjoyed a fabulous stay for a weekend break to Stratford. All the staff we came into contact with were excellent and really enhanced our stay. We had a delicious evening meal in the Shakespeare restaurant and looked after superbly by David and his colleagues. Special mention to Emma and Ruby on reception too. Very welcoming and efficient and friendly. Super comfy bed and the pillows were exceptionally comfortable too. Didn’t have the opportunity to use the pool this time as we had a busy weekend planned but gives us a good excuse to come back. Just loved it all!
Great place to stay, friendly and helpful staff, lovely grounds!
This is our second stay at this cracking place . With family in Yorkshire and South Wales it’s ideal to meetup as roughly in the middle! We booked for a short Easter break with family and dog. Arrived on Easter Monday, was greeted by the friendly and very efficient Loanne, who booked us in and explained everything we needed to know. Rooms are clean and comfortable, facilities are great and the food in the bar and restaurant is good too. We will definitely be booking again! I would highly recommend the Stratford Manor Hotel
Spa day
My friend and I were booked into the spa for an indulgent spa day. Our treatments were lovely with an excellent light lunch with prosecco. Towels and robes provided but not flip flops - take your own. The only downside was that work was going on with the sauna and steam rooms so we weren't able to use them and there was a baby swim class being held in one part of the pool for part of the time we were there. Lovely bar staff and Megan on spa reception was excellent. So worth checking if sauna/steam if available when you book and also what classes are in the pool if you want to use it.
Lovely hotel in countryside but convenient for Stratford
Lovely hotel, great atmosphere, friendly and professional team. Food and drinks very good. Room comfortable and clean. We didn’t use the leisure facilities so can’t comment on these. EV chargers in the car park, including 2 x 100kW ROAM chargers which were compatible with my 800V car. Bus stop at the entrance which provided an easy 10 minute journey (hourly service on weekday) into Stratford centre. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely afternoon
My daughter and I had a lovely spa afternoon including an afternoon tea and a 25 minute treatment. Rally, the spa manager was very helpful in accommodating us at the last minute.
Lovely weekend Break…
Stayed here twice over the last few months and both times it’s been a lovely stay, the spa facilities are great for a swim and sauna etc and the restaurant was great with a lovely choice of food and drinks, Charlie and Dave were particularly great with their service which was greatly appreciated.
Friendly staff, great food and comfortable rooms
As a group of 5 friends who only meet up once a year, we found this hotel to be ideal. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, the food was delicious, and there was plenty of space to sit and chat in the bar area. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but particularly David and his colleague in the restaurant, who really looked after us well. We took the bus from the bottom of the drive into Stratford, and that worked very well as it saved us using our cars.
Great people! Thank you for your hospitality.
Such a lovely, comfortable and enjoyable stay. We travelled from London for a friends birthday here at the hotel. We found all the staff very pleasant and accommodating, even down to the lady over the phone that I booked with who was so warm and welcoming that this set a really nice tone for the whole experience. We liked our room, it was very pleasing to the eye but most importantly clean and comfortable. Our 3 course meal was on point (mackerel, beef, sticky toffee pudding) the mash melted in your mouth and the beef fell apart - delicious. Breakfast was nice too. I would definitely find an excuse to travel here again with my partner and spend more than one night, make use of the swimming pool, steam room etc and explore the area.
Great overnight stay
First time at this hotel and it was great, room was fine spa facilities were great. The food we had in the restaurant was lovely as was the service
Stratford Manor- great stay
Lovely hotel, very tastefully done and very relaxing atmosphere, staff were amazing and nothing too much trouble, we will be back
Wedding Spa Break
We stayed mid week for a 2 night spa break to celebrate our wedding earlier in the week. I contacted the hotel ahead of us booking and the room had been decorated with petals and a lovely welcome message and bottle of wine. A simple touch that made the start of our get away simply perfect. The spa treatments were lovely and the spa itself was quiet and well maintained. The real show stopper for us was dinner. We dined in the restaurant and had the server David, what can I say! What a credit to the company. Again, David offered us a glass of fizz and seemed genuinely interested in how our wedding had gone. Nothing was too much trouble. Food (steaks) were simply stunning and cooked to perfection. David continued to check in us during our stay asking if there was anything else he could do which was very much appreciated. We dined out in Stratford on our second night but really wish we had stayed in the hotel to sample some more of their stunning food! All the staff were so lovely and constantly checked in, a fantastic visit start to finish!
Perfect stay
Perfect location The Daisy from reception give to us so warm welcome you fell you are at home, and make sure we have all information and she just check all booked our services. Nice clean room, crispy bedlinen( by Satine)many thanks The massage ladies Ellie and Maisy give to us so relax massage with body scrub( that was new experience) Then by dinner David makes wonderful dinner service with perfect wine recommendation. All together nice so quiet rooms, Was perfect stay.
Relaxing couples break with dinner included!!!
Looked for a relaxing spa break near bham, and by far the best value and good amenities was this hotel. We had a couple of spa treatments over the two days and vouchers towards our evening meals which worked out very well. Louise was great at meal times thank you, well all staff were very good. Im not a fan if spa but thevtreatments we both had were relaxing and peaceful. The downsides were corridors were quite cold and the pool amenities were needing slight renovations. The positives outweigh the negatives by Mike's so.... will be booking again as the whole experience was fab. Thanks Stratford Manor.
